In terms of the colour I was expecting this to be very cool toned but find it applies as a warmed pink with a bit of brightness and subtle silver shimmer.
Swatched below L-R: Sisley Phyto-Blush Eclat #5 Pinky Coral,Tom Ford Frantic Pink, By Terry Torrid Peach
It feels smooth and light weight though I do find it slightly powdery and it is not the smoothest or creamiest blush texture I have. Its very pigmented and blends nicely into the skin and lasts very well and does not break out my sensitive skin.
For me the best quality of this blush is the glow it gives to the skin, is the finish alone worth £45, well its somewhat akin to what I get from Sisley or By Terry and they are both more expensive than Tom Ford. So in that respect the blush is worth it for me, however in terms of the actual performance/feel/application of the product I do not think this excels above some of my favourite blushes that are cheaper (Burberry, Rouge Bunny Rouge for example).

So, so pretty. I have heard a few people say that these are nice but there is better out there. x
ReplyDeleteYes, it does seem that people either love them or are a bit meh about them, I do really like the two colours I got and am glad I got round to getting them finally :)
DeleteThat is a very pretty colour. I do like the pigmentation and lasting quality of these although you have reminded me I need to try the RBR and Burberry blushes as well:)
ReplyDeleteHi Meeta,
DeleteI'm glad I went for the two lightest colours, the pigment is such that I don't think I could get away with the other shades. Yes, RBR and Burberry are well worth a try :)
It's nice to read another take on these blushes, because to me these are the best of the best. I haven't tried RBR or Buberry blush though, so I think I need to try them and compare xx
ReplyDeleteHi Georgia,
DeleteI was thinking I was going to blown away by these so was surprised a bit. I do really like them they just don't excel over others for me. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts if you do pick up RBR/Burberry xx
Love the color and I love TF blushes a lot!! :)
ReplyDeleteI have wicked and flush and I am in love with both!
The colours are really pretty, I'll be interested to see what they bring out for the Spring collection :)
DeleteThat is a really pretty colour. It's very interesting to read your thoughts on the texture. I'm currently having a love in with RBR Gracilis so you've managed to quell my lust for a TF blusher for the moment. I am extremely grateful to you as I'm completely without budget until about Easter!! xx
ReplyDeletewell I am glad to help Jane ;) I don't think you need to get one of these unless they come out with a really wow colour. My budget has gone out the window, though sadly won't be able to buy anything from the Chanel/Dior release on the 18th Jan until payday, I'm really not one for window shopping, somewhat painful! xx
DeleteI think my favourite of the three is the ByTerry Torrid Peach, but I think I've recently just had an insane ByTerry lemming.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I like for my blush to be a little powdery, it's easier to adjust the pigmentation.
Torrid peach is one of my faves, if they were just a bit cheaper I'd be buying a lot more By Terry blushes :)
ReplyDeleteThats interesting what you say about the powdery texture and adjusting pigment as I do find this the case with TF coverage.
TF blushes are really pretty, Frantic Pink is no exception. I am however more inclined towards the Burberry ones. So which is your fav blush so far?
ReplyDeleteThats a tough question ;) right now I'd say RBR and Suqqu, followed by By Terry/Burberry/Sisley,see how I narrowed that down..... ;)
