I've fallen heavily for the Protect the Wolves Fall collection from
Chantecaille, my review of the Protect the Wolves Eye Shade Trio is
here and Ella Cheek Shade & Patience Lip Chic is here.
The Luster Glide Silk Infused Eye Liner in Black Forest is a
densely pigmented stunning blackened green.
Its a very soft
liner so not necessarily the best if you like a crisp line, but
it just glides on so smoothly, with such rich pigment and lasts
really well (even on the waterline).
Swatched below with the green from the Protect the Wolves Eye Shade Trio
Ingredients:
The Galactic Lip Shines have been a new find for me, I
initially dismissed them thinking they were just another lip
gloss but in actuality they are more of a conditioning
lip treatment that has the moisturising properties of a
balm and the shine of a gloss.
The formula feels
comfortable on and improves the lip condition, leaving the
area soft. The shade Moonlight
is a clear base with a cool toned pink iridescent.
Swatched below on the left with my other Chantecaille galactic lip shine in Aurora.
I couldn't capture the pretty iridescence but thought the below photo might help give you an idea of the colour, this is one application and I do not have pigmented lips.

Both are lovely, but I'm such a sucker for iridescent lips, especially that pinky shade! I used to have a YSL one that was similar. Lovely stuff.
ReplyDeleteI do like an iridescent lip as well, nice to use as a topper for lipsticks :)
DeleteHi dear Clare, that dark green eye pencil is super pretty!!! I would use it on the water line but also as eyeliner, I think t would work very well! I'm not so convinced by the two lipglosses, I think they're good because they moisturize well lips but personally I prefer darker colours =)
ReplyDeleteHave a serene evening dear,
kisses
Marghe
Hi Marghe, the liner is really lush, bet I'll go through it quickly. It would be good if they brought out some more pigmented colours in the glosses as it's such a lovely formula x
