Illamasqua lip swatches
I usually go for pinky brown lip colours, and tend to avoid anything too out there, bright. I had to try some Illamasqua lipsticks and figured that Climax and Wanton looked like the easiest to wear shades, climax is a cool/neutral dusty rose and wanton is more of a purple pink, both are matte. I have to say I'm not too sure about these shades on me (I'm a cool toned and very pale) as they are rather bright compared to what I'm used too, so for now I'm paring them with a bit of gloss just to tone them down a bit but I have to say pigmentation is amazing and they really last well....now if I could just find a shade that suits me.... :)

Do you think that either of these would look good on a warmer toned gal. In the MAC NC20-30 range? Light hair blue eyes. I'm thinking about ordering these shades when the come out. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Chanel431, wanton is rather cool toned, so if you wanted to go for one, Climax would probably be better as its less cool,they do go on rather bright I find, but I don't have really pigmented lips so ymmv. Illamasqua offer quite a lot of warm toned shades as well, for example Brink is a coral and sonnet is a peach.
