LE BLUSH CRÈME DE CHANEL: Inspiration

I went for the palest shade of the Le Blush Creme de Chanel range, Inspiration #64 (£27).

I've held off reviewing this for a while as I was fully expecting it to break me out. I'm please to say that I have had no issues on my sensitive, acne prone skin.

The colour is very true to pan, and is a semi matte blue based pink, whilst still maintaining a slightly dewy look. Pigment is very buildable  so you can go sheer or more intense.
I think this is very foolproof unlike a lot of cream blush on the market as it blends well with no patchiness or noticeable visible edges.
Its very long lasting, I'd say I get a good 6 hours before I notice fading.
Swatched below lightly then heavier,

I really like that this has no greasiness or tackiness which seem to be a common attribute with cream blushers.
A hands down great formula, and one I'd recommend if you don't usually get on with cream blushers. This is certainly the stand out from the Fall Superstition Collection for me.

Ingredients:

I bought this from Boots.

  1. I agree this is one for the usual cream-haters :) As a big fan of cream blushes, I found these painfully powdery-dry on me!

    1. oh no that's not good, dry skin is so tricky, of course it will get more fun with the weather turning cold, it always makes my base application much more difficult. You and I are a bit chalk and cheese at the moment with our makeup ;)

  2. I love all of these new cream blushes, but get the most use out of Inspiration. I agree, it's pretty fool proof and it lasts so much longer than powder blushes! :)

    1. I think they have done really well with these, I don't get on that well with a lot of the Chanel base/blush products so this was a nice surprise :)

  3. I just got my Presage and Revelation and I am having fun playing with them. Inspiration looks so pretty, I wonder if it will show up on me.

    1. I find it really easy to build up, I apply mine very lightly otherwise it looks too much, so it might be worth a go for you :)

  4. This is the only one that I purchased, and I completely agree with your assessment-- it is a truly lovely blush, and I love the formula! Excellent review, as always! xoxo

    1. Thank you :) It does give a lovely finish to the skin, I am eyeing up the more peachy/pink shade as well now x

    2. That one is especially gorgeous! I have wanted to look at that one again as well. I need to try it on my cheeks-- it ended up pulling far too coral on my arm. I just love the texture of these beauties!

    3. I'd better have a re-swatch as well then before I pick it up as if it looks too coral on you would likely be the same on me :)
