Sad news for us in the UK as the britishbeautyblogger has reported that Le Metier is pulling out of this country. The brand had some beautiful products and is one of my favourites so I think this is quite a loss.
The colour core lipsticks have an impressive level of pigmentation. The formula is silky, smooth and long lasting. However, the pay off for the impressive wear of the product is that its not the most moisturising.
Ibiza is a shimmered peachy pink with coral tones, its a fresh, vibrant shade perfect for the warmer months.
Out of all the shades I have tried I would say this is less bold/bright (although it is easy to build up should you want a brighter look). The retail price of the lipstick was £22 when I bought one last year.

Such a shame the brand is pulling out of the UK. I have a lot of their products but never got around to trying the lipsticks. I looked into buying some products from Nordstrom in the US yesterday and the shipping for one item was going to be £40! Definitely makes anything I want in the future a considered purchase!
ReplyDeleteI like the color! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat?! I was only just getting into the brand so it's a huge shame they will not be stocked in the UK. Even if they only had an online presence here like brands on Zuneta that would be good instead of pulling out completely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame they're leaving the UK. Such a wonderful brand.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's sad news :/ I wonder why they decided to leave? I have a few of their products and have their kaleidoscope palettes on my wishlist!
ReplyDeleteSad news indeed. I actually got a phone call from them saying that they will only be there until the 11th March. Like lipstick luvvie, I somehow never got yo buy a l/s. I suppose the glosses always got my attention more :-).
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely soft colour and I'm sure it's flattering on you...
Nina x
Hi Lipstick Luvvie,
ReplyDeleteYes, I too had a look at the option of Nordstrom but its too much shipping, I do wonder why they would even offer the service with such high rates tbh as can't think a lot of people would use it. There was so much more LMDB I wanted! x
Hi Vintage Makeup,
I can see it being a popular one, a lot of their other shades are a bit too bold for me ;)
Hi Meeta,
I know, I wish they would still stay online somewhere, perhaps they may do so in the future?
Hi dempss01,
It was really a "me" type brand as well, guess it just wasn't doing well enough here.
Hi Makeup Magpie,
I think someone said they are leaving due to distribution issues (I know on the online site, things were always going out of stock) and not being able to afford the floor rent of a high end store such as Selfridges.
Hi Nina,
That is quick to be out by 11th March, I suppose its only makeup but this has really annoyed me! x
That is a really lovely summery colour. I am very hopeful that they will return online in the UK somehow. I bet they wish they had never moved from Liberty :(
ReplyDeleteJane x
Hi Jane,
ReplyDeleteI wonder why they moved from Liberty in the first place?
I'd say its the most wearable colour of the ones I have of theirs x
Ah that's a shame! Sorry to hear that. Better start stocking up now, right? It's like wnen Shu Uemura pulled their products out of the States!
ReplyDeleteHi Lexi920,
ReplyDeleteYou know I often wonder if Shu Uemura will leave the UK as well, I could never understand why that brand didn't do will in America.
