RMS Beauty ‘Un' Powder

The organic colour care line RMS has released their first powder (£28). It is free of talc, parabens, and perfumes and its only ingredient is “spherically cut” silica.

Its feels very finely milled and  has a soft and silky texture. It feels lightweight and though it gives a matte look it does not look over made up.  It completely cuts out any shine and holds strong throughout the majority of the day.

It comes in one shade, which has a white cast on initial contact but once worked into the skin is transparent.

Like the majority of powders It will highlight dry areas so I tend to use a muslin cloth prior to doing my makeup if I do have any dry/non smooth patches. My sensitive skin tends to react to the majority of powders (either they break me out or make me go really blotchy) so I am very pleased to have had no reaction to this.

For me this is my current go to powder as it does not upset my skin and does what its supposed to.

RMS Beauty 'Un' Cover-Up

The second product I bought from the organic, mineral brand RMS Beauty, is the 'Un' Cover-Up concealer. It comes in 3 shades and I went for the lightest one, shade No.11 (£28).
The colour is slightly too dark for my face and under eye area and has quite a strong yellow undertone.
The texture is really good, extremely easy to apply and blend and when used on the face it makes the area look smoother.
It lasts well and the finish is very natural. Its not drying, so does not emphasis lines, nor does it cake.
The coverage is light to medium so if like me you have a very discoloured under eye area and acne scarring this is not going to provide you with enough coverage.
To show you the coverage, the eye on the left of your screen has nothing on, the eye on the right has Un Cover up only (I didn't use an eye cream underneath it).
Unfortunately I have to concede that this does not work with my acne prone skin and I do get congestion from this, so I can only use it for my under eye area now.
Swatched on the left, blended in on the right:
I think for dry skin types that are not acne prone this would be a great product if you don’t require heavy coverage but want something that will make you skin look more healthy and radiant.

RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek

RMS beauty is a brand I have been wanting to try for quite a while. Where they differ from a lot of the more natural/organic cosmetic brands, is that the ingredients are not over processed. What this means is that you are getting raw food grade organic ingredients as close to their natural state as possible, with no extreme heating or chemical processes.

I bought a Lip2Cheek in shade smile (£28) . It comes in a screw top glass container.
It feels comfortable on both lips and cheeks with no oily/greasy feel. It blends seamlessly and lasts all day on me when used on the cheek. I also have had no breakouts from it. The colour is a very pigmented coral with a very slight hint of pink.
Swatched below, on the left its swiped, on the right its blended.
Ingredients (shade Smile is the only one that contains a bit of synthetic colour, RMS are looking towards finding a natural source for this colour):

I am very impressed by the texture and wear of this product, I might go for shade Muse next as I think it would make a nice highlighter.
