Le Metier de Beaute Sheer Brilliance Lip Gloss Uma Paro

I find purple toned lip shades tricky to wear as they can look very bright, too contrasting against my pale skin and well just too purple. The wonderful review from Lola's secret beauty blog made me succumb to Uma Paro (£26).

Its a deep plum with multi coloured sparkle. Close up of the tube below,

Once I received it I was slightly concerned by just how plummy/purple the shade was, however because of the sheerness and lush glossy finish it is extremely wearable and manages to strike the perfect balance of the redder tones you'd get from a plum to the cooler slightly fuchsia blue tones of a purple.

Great on its own or as a topper to give your lipstick a lift. Though its called sheer, the colour is buildable. The texture is lightweight and smooth (there is no grittiness) and feels moisturising, there is a bit of tackiness to it.

For those looking for a wearable plummy lip, this would be a great one to try.
