BECCA Mineral Powder Blush: Flowerchild

Part of the summer Halcyon Days collection, Flowerchild is one of two mineral blush releases, the other being Damselfly, which I reviewed here.
The powders feel smooth, they are very pigmented so I apply with the faintest touch. One of the great attributes of these blushers is how long they last, there is no change of colour and I get no colour fade at all.

Flowerchild is a slightly coral pink with subtle golden shimmer, the look is luminous and natural.
Swatches L-R: Flowerchild, Damselfly swiped then Flowerchild, Damselfly blended out
Ingredients:

I bought this from zuneta.com

  1. Really lovely shade! I like that it's in between a coral and a pink. :)

  2. Looks like a really nice shade. I kind of passed these by and went for the palette instead but these definitely seem worth a look. Thanks so much for all your reviews, they always tell me everything I need to know and you always go for the type of products I'm interested in. As I can't get out to the shops as much as I'd like your blog is a great resource x

  3. Tempting, tempting, tempting!! After seeing your side by side swatches I think it will have to be Damselfly. Thanks so much for the great (and tempting) pictures!

  7. Oh Replica, swatched side-by-side, I just can't decide. I've already taken three trips back to the counter and I can't remember the last time I hesitated so much over a colour choice...

  8. Great review. Both colors are really pretty, but I am particularly drawn to Flowerchild, which appears cooler. I appreciate your comment on their not changing color. Bobbi Brown's powder product so that on me ALL THE TIME. Grrrr.

  9. Hi Vintage Makeup,
It is a really nice brightening shade :)

    Hello NarsCupcake,
Yes, I'm really glad I got it.

    Hi Lipstick Luvvie,
Thank you, thats so lovely of you to say. I have noticed that we tend to veer towards the same products ;) I think both shades would really suit you x

    Hi Jane,
You know it would be wrong for you not to have at least one ;) I'll be interested to see what the fall blush shades will be like, they looked more nudy/brown toned from the pics x

    Hi Charlie,
They are a great find, I am really getting into Becca x

    Hi PerilouslyPale,
I bet your Zuneta wish list is gigantic ;) I sometimes wonder what the total would come to if I ordered eveything I wanted from their site....and that thought scares me.. :)

    Hi Elvira,
LOL, what can I say, yes you do need it ;)

    Hi Prime Beauty,
They are great summer colours aren't they, I also think they will work wonders in the winter when the skin needs a bit of a perk :)

    Hi Nina,
You know my answer to that, buy both, problem solved ;) x

    Hello Zuzu's Petals,
Yes Flowerchild would be the better option as its the cooler of the two. I get the feeling you and I have a few issues with BB ;)

  10. Hey Replica! This looks so pretty!!! I swatched both shades and didn't end up getting them but you have me reconsidering!!
One random unrelated question: a MAC blush that has recently been getting my online attention is Cubic, do you have it/recommend it?
    Thanks
    xxx

  11. Hi Lakshmi,
You have more restraint than me ;)
I am really sure that I use to have Cubic quite a long time ago, I didn't keep it and from memeory I think it was a bit dull, too warm slightly dirty looking on my pale skin.
