Rouge Bunny Rouge Original Skin Blush in Habanera

Habanera is a medium warm rose terracotta. Its suggested as a shade for any medium complexion, which I am certainty not, but to have a RBR blush makes you desire more and running out of colour options to buy, I decided on Habanera (£23.23).

The shade does contain brown tones and initially I thought it would be more of a bronzer but compared to a standard bronzer (shown below with RBR Bronzing Glow Powder At Goldcombe Bay on the right) you can see that the rosy tones allow this to be used as a blush.

It has a satin finish with a soft glow, there is some fine gold shimmer but it's not visible once applied.
Swatched below twice and then blended out,

Swatched below with my other RBR blushers L-R:Orpheline, Habanera, Starina, Gracili and Delicata.

The RBR blushers have a faultless texture; smooth, creamy with a lightweight feel, which blend beautifully on the skin and have a good wear time.
My only ask if that they release more shades in the relatively small line up.

I bought this from rougebunnyrouge.com

  1. I know!!! I have Florita and Orpheline, and I've been PRAYING for more shades! I'm just not sure I'd be into the other shades that are available, although I've been wrong about blushes before!

    1. I didn't think I would be into this one but am wearing it a lot, gives a really nice warmth to the skin. We will have to start a more shades petition ;)

    1. I think both shades would look great on you, I guess we would be in trouble if they did have a really big collection of blushes ;)

  3. I agree, RBR should definitely have a larger colour selection of blushes (the same also goes for their lipsticks). I think my next blush pick will be Delicata, it might work well on my now slightly paler skin.

  6. Thanks for the comparison swatches! Orpheline is so pretty...think I'd very much like to have it lolol :-) Think Habanera might end up looking a bit like delicata on me, though maybe a touch deeper. But think I can pass on it for now. Totally agree...would love to see more shades!!!

  7. I have to use such a gentle touch with Orpheline as its rather bright :) I think a more peachy/pink and true pinky rose would fare well in the line up.
