The Joy of Children.....

Bit off topic here, but my little boy not content with having nabbed a lipstick out of my bag, decided to take the top off and squish his finger in it ! Behold the destruction.
I like that instead of picking out one of the cheaper lipsticks he went for my RBR one. Note to self, keep all makeup zipped away or on very high shelve....

  1. I totally understand and sympathize! My son just can't leave my bathroom/makeup products alone and drags them around the house, opens them up and leaves them dripping all over the sofa!!! How old is yours? xx

  2. When I was younger my mum bought a really nice plummy coloured lipstick from America and told me and my brothers not to touch it. My middle brother somehow didn't hear and decided to pick it up and used it as something to drive his toy cars over. My mum went mad.

I have a cousin now who is 5 and is convinced that he should not leave the house wearing blusher, he looks so cute in it as well.

  4. Hi Mizzworthy,
Yes, I'm sure it will be the first of many..

    Hello Anna,
I hope my one doesn't start dripping stuff, he has made off with shampoo's before but is not able to open them yet, he is 16 months old and seems to be in everything, his toys don't get a look in anymore.

    Hello Rhamnousia,
They do seem to have selective hearing, bet he was popular with your mum. I LOL when I read that blusher comment,so cute ;)

    Hi Helen,
I do think I will have to re-think my makeup storage, I guess I came off lightly, he keeps eyeing up my makeup brushes, if he manages to get one of those don't think I'll be able to save it :)

  5. Hi, I found your blog through your comment at Mizz Worthy's blog. Just to say that you have a valid point with Nude has ingredients that might not suite acne-prone skin (like mine). I've tried some of the stuffs in their range and reacted badly to the toner. The only thing I would repurchase from the facial range is the cleansing oil, fantastic to dissolve makeup. Afterwards I would use my usual cleanser, in case the left-over of the cleansing oil cause acne. Anyway, thought you might like to know. :)

  8. Hi again. :) I checked out Evolve ingredients, some products contain coconut-derived ingredients, which could be a problem for acne-prone skin like ours. I'll be very interested to see whether it suits your skin, if you decide to get them. :D
